The next day I received this message in an email.
Dear sir my please note we have complete
the processing of your payment,so order western union
to pay in spain. thanks JOHN
I wrote them back immediately.
I'll call them up right now - but I'm pretty sure I told them
Madrid Spain - it's also written on the receipt.
Sometimes these guys make mistakes.
About one hour later I wrote them the following:
John, I spoke with Western Union and they fixed the
problem. There was some kind of computer error
in their system. Use the same MTCN numbers etc.

They wrote me back the next day - after trying
again to cash the
money transfer:
Dear sir i got your mail this morning,the id holder
given you to send the money is out of madrid,so please
redirect this fund to our german office in berlin. resend
to MR.OWEN POTTER BERLIN GERMANY.
please get this done today you can be paid nestweek,call me
immediatly you do this. yours JOHN

gist of what was
happening. So I thought it was time to end the masquerade. I sent
