People I Met Through Other People

Ryan is Misty's boyfriend. (Don't get confused, there are a few Ryans on here.) I don't know him very well yet, but he's easygoing and fun, and seems to have misty's sense of humor. I'll have to get to know him better!

Marc is someone I met through Dave. He's generous, funny, and quite sarcastic, and he shares a lot of my beliefs. He has a pretty twisted sense of humor, but there's never a dull moment. And if you need someone to talk to, cry to, complain to, or get sympathy from, he'll be the first one there. He'd share his last piece of bread with you if you asked. Or even if you looked at it enviously like you needed a piece.
His website has a bunch of pictures of us-- check it out!

Ed is your classic teddy bear. (Okay, your classic teddybear with underlying S&M curiosities.) He's a lot of fun. He's a really trustworthy person, he won't judge or take sides in a crisis, and will stand by you through pretty much everything. While poking you in the side to see where you're ticklish.

Bondo is unique. I suspect that may be the only word that accurately describes him without the need of a qualifying explanation. He has straight blond hair down to his butt, he likes to party and hang with friends, and if you can't find him in a crowd, you're either not looking hard enough, or else you don't know who you're looking for. (This man makes hawaiian shirts look tame. He went to a friend's wedding in a velvet tiger print suit on request of the groom. With the chainmail tie he made himself.) He sticks by you through absolutely everything and he doesn't judge. Overall, he makes life richer, and we are all the better for it.

Ellisa is one of those just-plain-cute people. She's someone I've been getting to know a lot more lately. She seems quiet when you first meet her, but as you get to know her, you find out she's absolutely hilarious and has a lot to say, and she's very easy to talk to. Again, very trustworthy and loyal, great to have around.

Brian is Ellisa's brother, and they get along impressively well. (Sometimes people don't realize they're related, but I think there's a family resemblance.) He's a smart, generous, funny person, and believes in common sense and the idea of treating fellow humans with respect. He's good at calming me down, cheering me up, getting me excited about something-- all depending on the situation.

I probably first met Sharen at a convention, but we've done plenty together, and she's a lot of fun. She has her head on straight, but still knows how to have fun, and I hope to get to know her a lot better!

I met Wally through Ben first, sometime in high school I think, but didn't really get to know him until I worked at Kmart with him. (Never work at Kmart.) Then it was another one of those, "hey, I know you..." He's a teddy bear also, and a real sweetheart. He moved to Florida a few years ago, so now it's mostly email, but I did go to visit him once. He plays the guitar, and he's at least as wacky as me. But he's courteous and respectful, which I really dig.

I've only known Shawn & Kim for a little while. I met them through Dave (Shawn has been Dave's best friend for a long time), and I understand why he likes them so much. They have a baby boy, Kaeden (which, by the way, is a very cool name) and they are really easy to talk to.

I met Melissa at MCC in the choir, and while I don't always see her a lot, we keep in touch (mostly online) and visit when we can. She's silly and easygoing, and fun to be around.

I met Tom through Jeff and Kristen. He's easygoing and fun to network with, and I really admire his ability to be positive. I dont know him too well yet, but he's definitely cool!

I met Kris through Dave. I haven't seen him much lately (and even then only in groups) but he's easy to talk to and always has something interesting to say. Hopefully I can get to know him better!
