I am happy to report that both Tolkien's birthday and my own were great successes.Firstly, my birthday, on January 18th, was a fun gig, featuring a free cake (of which I could only taste a little, since we elves try to avoid toxic human foodstuffs, such as bleached white flour).

For Tolkien's eleventy-first birthday, I attended a little get-together with the Heren Istarion folk, which was fun (we saw TTT in Times Square) and I won the visual companion book.

I have re-started classes at City College, and begun work on a new composition. It is a sacred work, meant for the High Elvish religious rites. I hope to have it fully finished by the end of the year (the first part will be finished by May.)

I am happy to report that the first piece in the "Rites of Arda" was a resounding success.  This piece is subtitled, "Invocation to Eru". I have recieved much positive feedback from other elves, and when the whole piece is completed and I have recorded it, I will put it up as an MP3 on this site.
I am busy at work at a new website, one dealing with Spiritual Matters. Humans, with their vast Spiritual Blindness, have such a hard time of it that I decided to share some of the truths we elves know of with them, and perhaps some elves, as well, will enjoy it. It's at www.onenesswithgod.org
Another thing- I'm having to type out some of the Elf Documents for the Newly Expanded "writings" section. It's quite tiresome, but of course, these articles are of utmost importance to the elf community.
The weather has gotten much milder now that I stopped calling for snow. Really, I must stop doing that.....it's a poor use of my "weather elf" gifts!!! *snicker snicker*

Well, Spring break is over and I had enough time off to sample some fine English Ale, go to the mountains, go shopping, eat out a couple of times, and yesterday....I got some new modeling pics done (yes, you heard right!) Apparently, there is a high demand for elf models. My photo shoot was at Atlantic City (a most un-elf-like place!) The photographer declared that I have "some scary eyes". Here is one of the pics. Judge for yours"elves".

(you can't tell by looking, but I am hugging the tree in this picture- a nice young tree, very well-spoken!)
June 14th, 2003-
The end of the semester has arrived, and I am happy to report that both the performance of part one of "Rites of Arda" and the broadcast on Manhattan Nieghborhood Network were successful. I am hoping to put a music link later on, with the music on it. A lot has happened in the past few months. I got mys"elf" a new laptop (a blueberry ibook, quite appropriate for one of the "blue elves!) and a DVD player for my desktop. I have been trying to bring more elves into the Christian Elf Fellowship, as well as meeting other elves through the other groups.

I've also had the pleasure of being one of the featured "dancing elves" in the "Lords of the Rhymes" rap video. For those of you who aren't familiear with these things, the Lords of the Rhymes are a hobbit rap group. Check out te new "photo" page for more pics of my activities.
Oh, and, of course, tonight, I have another jazz gig at Cleo's..... next month, it's off to Europe, homeland of my people!!!
