Today I received a reply from Hasbro for my e mail I sent yesterday.  It was answered by somebody named Kelly.  Here is what it said:

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc.  We appreciate your interest.  There are no plans at this time to produce Big Brother Ponies.  We will share your interest with the appropriate personnel.  Thanks again for your interest.

Not bad for a response from a big business huh?  At least it doesn't seem automated, so I will take it as it seems.  So therefore, it's not a turndown for male ponies, but merely the information that there are none in the making...yet.  This, to me, is a perfect oppurtunity to show interest in male ponies.

Today I started the MPR by writing my own first letter to Habro concerning Male Ponies:

First off, I've known My Little Ponies my whole life, and I want to thank you for such a wonderful toy!  They are, in my opinion, by far, better than Barbies!  I don't know how I would have made it by in a world full of Barbie girls without my ponies.  I've been collecting them since the 80's.  Now, onto the question.  Back in the 80's with the origional ponies, you released a Big Brother set.  I LOVED my boy ponies.  They were probably some of my favorites.  I think most little girls liked having boy ponies too, because they liked having them get married, or their ponies having boyfriends.  I would like to know if you will be making some more Big Brother ponies, or some sort of male ponies with the newer ponies?  I think it would help if they were distinguishable from the females also like you did with the origional ponies.  I have always liked the fact that they had feathered hooves, (Clydesdale hooves.)  When you released the second set of ponies in the late 90's, you had one male also, but I don't think Clever Clover did so well because he looked JUST like the girl ponies.  I was very pleased to see baby ponies with the third release of My Little Ponies, and I searched in toy stores for weeks just to find one.  I would really like to see some boy ponies and hope you get lots of letters about releasing some.  In my own personal interest, if you do make some Big Brother ponies, make sure there's a blue one as that's my favorite colour.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I really appreciate it.  I'm hoping to see some new boy ponies
!

While writing the e mail above, I felt inspired to start this revolution.  I hope to have a list of people who have joined, and some banners and everything.  So everybody hang in there, and let's get this MPR started!
