| My Journey... I have not sailed the Seven Seas, Nor crossed the ocean blue. I have not climbed Mount Everst, There's much I've left to do. But I have been a million miles And I have seen much more, Than all the sailors of the sea, Or travellers of the shore. I've reached the highest mountains, I've walked the sands of time. I've wished upon the stars at night, This journey has been mine. I've Loved...I've Lost, Felt Joy and Pain. I've seen the Sunshine, Stop the Rain. I've seen an Angel leave this earth, And one begin new life. I've felt God's hand within my own, I've been a Mother and a Wife. I've danced among the daisies, Made Angels in the snow. I've planted seeds of wisdom, And I have watched them grow. I've gotten so much more from life, This journey has been mine. And I could not repay this debt, There never would be time. I've Loved...I've Lost, Felt Joy and Pain. I've seen the Sunshine, Stop the Rain. B.P. |
| To My Husband ... Wally My Love...My Life If only I could tell You... In a simlpe word or phrase. How very much I Love You... In so many little ways. Your tenderness and warm embrace... Your touch upon My hand. The way You smile from inside out... The way You understand. The way You look into My eyes... Then quickly turn away. So I won't see the million things... You find so hard to say. To hear You when You're lonely... And know when You are scared. To know that You are hurting... And that Your soul's been bared. I want to reach out to You... Help You understand and see. Take away the wonder... Help You to trust in Me. I want to hold You in My arms... And hold You in My Heart. So You will know that I am here... And that We'll never be apart. I'll Always...Always Love You... Much more than You could know. And I'll Always...Always be Here... No matter where We go. I give to You My Heart and Soul... My Love...My Life I give. And ask You please to keep this gift... As long as We shall live. You see there is no simple word... No phrase that I can say. Only, that I Love You More...
