| Well, I figured it probably was downhill from here on in when I started this Bowie site. But it's OK, Rickman has a huge following on the internet, just like Bowie, just type it in to Google and see for yourself. And he is rather sexy. Sometimes. The beard doesn't help. I don't usually go for bearded guys, mainly cos my Dad has one and it's prickly. But it's alright, he doesnt always have a beard. I dont think he has at the moment. Well you can guess how I discovered him. Sexy Severus Snape. He's a bit old, but he's very sexy severus snape apart from that. Look I made "sexy Severus Snape" into an adjective. |
| Then I discovered he was The Sheriff on Nottingham in that annoying version of Robin Hood (you know the one with all the Americans running around the English coutryside, and how long did it take them to get from Dover to Nottingham?) And everyone must say he is the best actor in that film by a VERY long way. I know it's not that hard, but he was good. Even with the spoon thing going on. And the "you my room, 11:30, you 11:45, bring a friend," or whatever it is. He's still very good. But yes, that was a bad film. Hope you all noticed Rabies though! Then I looked him up on the internet movie database, and got a shock, because he's even older than Bowie, but he does look rather good for his age. |

| Well me and my two wonderful best friends, who's, er, individuality, I have to say, exceeds even my own, actually had an evening called an "Alan Rickman evening." The idea of these is to go round someone's house for a sleepover and watch as many Alan Ricman films as you can in one night. We watched Galaxy Quest, Robin Hood and Die Hard. Yes I know it is a pathetically tiny amount for one night's viewing, but Vicky was late and we had a break to watch a bit of Lord of The Rings (don't ask) (or do, it's the longest and most boring film in the known Universe). Well we watched Galaxy Quest first, and found it very boring until it actually got funny. We were quite disapointed that he wore that stupid head thing for the entire film! Even when he was at home chilling out. I'm sure that was supposed to be funny, but it wasn't!! He has a very nice head, why does he have to hide it? I loved the "What's it motivation?" seen, with the rock monster. I know, I'm usually a bit more discriminative with what I deem funny, but it was. He didn't steel this film though like he does with others. Maybe because he didn't get all of the funny lines. Then we watched Robin Hood. Or we watched bits of Robin Hood, fastforwarding all the boring bits, like all of it without the sheriff on nottingham in. Even those bits we didnt watch properly. His eyes were weird, and his mother was scary. He wasn't the sort of nice evil guy, he actually tried to rape her, which wasn't that nice. But spoons, you know, always a winner that one. Oh yeah then we watched some Buffy, but for Spike more than anything. Then we got changed for bed and watched Lord of the Rings. This is because Vicky rarely shares in mine and Charlotte's bizzarre obsessions, (don't get me wrong she has her own) and we decided it would only be nice if she gets to watch her little bit of Elijah Wood. Then when I was thoroughly bored we finally got around to Die Hard. Yes, it is basically every crap American action film you've ever seen. But apparently it's the original so we may forgive them. It was actually quite good, I mean, he makes a bloody good villain does old Alan. I think we all fell asleep though, because we didn't even start watching til almost 3 and tis a long and twisting film. But very clever. He looks quite eniticing throughout ("interesting ugly" as my mother says, but I never thought he was ugly) except for his silly smiles. his teeth and his mouth are different shapes, and it's quite unnerving. But he made one heck of a good villain. |

| I am quite hoping to see him in other films one day. Looking forward to chamber of secrets! Apparently the kiss oposite is quite famous. Apparently the film was quite bad, but as usual, Alan shone through, and everyone still thinks he's a fantastic actor. Well he is, so there. : P well that was immature.
