The holidays in Globe had a nice small town feel. School choir concerts, a Messiah sing-along, a light parade with floats full of Boy Scouts, church choirs, and little kids dressed like angels.... The volunteers at Besh-ba-gowah Park offered free admission to the 700-year-old pueblo ruins for their annual "Festival of Lights." Almost 2000 luminaria lined the walls of the ruins, and there were musical performances, bonfires, hot cider and cookies, and a visit from Santa, of course! |
