DEANES BAKER was born ca 1520-40 in Crockehern, Somerset, England, and died 08 Nov 1614. She married in 1574 to Willliam Brewer, Phisitian, of Chard in Somerset and the Isle of Wight. Deanes and William are buried at the Parish Church in Chard. The inscription on their monument states, ""Here lieth interred (expecting their Saviour) the bodyes of William Brewer of Chard and Deanes his wife, who, living forty years in Happy Wedlock, in full of age departed this life, shee dying 8 Nov 1614 and he 24 July 1618, having issue only six sons and five daughters all men and women growne, and all comforts to them."
