~Tears~ Like a slow, simmering rain Carve hollows deep within... Fire...the slaughter of dreams And of the innocents Burn sharply in our eyes. Splendor of America ~Crumbled~ After the sky took flame (A horror that shook the world) And so many of us ask How can we go on When our kindred Lay brutally slain? Our souls are sliced open- Exposing fearful flesh And allowing the ice of hatred To penetrate...
