WHY MIRA?
Why, indeed.
I suppose that there is an entire contingent of Mira fans who got into the pairing because they already liked Taito and Jyoushiro and they wanted "those girls" out of the way. (and we COULDN'T mess with the sacred Takari. *Looks around site.* Oops.) For me, though, it went in exactly the opposite direction.
The first time I saw Mimi and Sora sharing the screen, I had this sudden flash like "Gods, would they make a cute couple." The fact that this was 01 didn't hurt either. We all remember what Sora was like in 01. (Some day I will upload a picture of me at 12 so you can all freak out at the similarities...it's almost EERIE. Even down to the ugly hat. MINE was for the Boston Blazers...but...)
And, as I watched more, I saw these little interactions between them that just seemed very sweet and loving to me. We all remember when, in the first 01 episode, Mimi was thrown backwards and Sora ran over to check on her, right? Or the ways they seemed to stick together, the ways they seemed to connect, the ways...
Well, I saw it.
And, apparently, I'm not the only one, either.
So, why Mira? Or, more personally, why do I like Mira?
There are a lot of reasons.
They seem to complement each other nicely.
They both have sweet hearts hidden under various layers.
Sora cares for everyone. Mimi seems obsessed with herself, but she kind of grows out of it.
They're both strong, though Sora is the only one who really shows it all the time. Sora actually SEEMS stronger than Mimi, but in the kind of way where she could help take care of the little pink dear.
Oh, dear. I've exhausted my creativity...what do you guys think? Why Mira?
