Design turbocharger components using CATIA, including surfacing, FEA and layout as well as detail drawings. Ability to take designs from concept stage, to 3D models, then produce detail drawings to GD&T drafting standards. Process improvements. Key role in developing new processes and migration from v4 to v5, including defining CAD processes and training designers.

• Suspension Concepts                             June 1999 – Jan 2000

Operate manual and CNC machining centers. Maintenance and repair of all machinery. Product and manufacturing design.

• AlliedSignal Turbocharging Systems:             June 1997 – Dec 1997

(6 month Co-Op) Design and complete tests for product in developmental stages. Conduct testing and data analysis of turbocharger and control system performance. Communicate with vendors and test laboratory to facilitate timely completion of tests. Data reduction and analysis.
