Longtong kering is a popular breakfast meal in Johor. It is basically boiled rice cake served with ingredients such as fried tofu, beef rendang,  fried chicken, fried vegetables and topped with a spicy peanuty sauce which is very similar to satay sauce. Additional side dishes like fried beef lungs and fried fish can be added, if one fancies.

ZAPIN
Zapin is a Malay Traditional Dance that is very popular in Johor . The word zapin means the movement of legs from the word 'Al-Zafri ' . Zapin is a Malay Traditional Dance that originally adapted from traditional culture of Arab . It is most influenced by Zapin Arab , but it has some characteristics that make zapin Melayu dance different with Arab . Basically , Malaysian dancers take zapin as basic steps . Nowadays , zapin dance was perfomed in a formal or informal events such as wedding ceremory , grand opening ,event and so on .

KUDA KEPANG
The Kuda Kepang is a very interesting dance from Johor.The dance was once a form of totemic worship.
The dance had strong links with spirit possession and often dancers went into a trance-like state.
However with the Islamisation of Malaysia, this dance now generally renders the tale of nine Javanese men who spread the Islamic faith in the interior of Java.The nine Muslim evangelists rode on horseback and dramatized stories of the battles waged and won for the cause of Islam to draw and hold the attention of the congregation.Kuda Kepang is performed by nine dancers who are seated astride a two dimensional 'horse' made of hide or pleated rattan.The dancers re-enact the early Islamic battles in enthusiastic gestures and vigorous action. Naturally as time as moved this dance is seen very much more for its entertainment value.
This dance is performed in accompaniment to a rich and exotic rendition of traditional music played with indigenous instruments such as gongs, tambourines and angklungs.

LEGOLAND MALAYSIA RESORT

Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia's first international theme park tha has opened in Nusajaya ,Johor Malaysia on 15 September 2012 with over 40 interactive rides , shows and attractions . It the first Legoland theme park in Asia and sixth in the world upon its establishment .The official opening of Legoland Malaysia was made by Sultan Ibrahim Ismail , Sultan of Johor on 22 September 2012 .


KOTA TINGGI WATERFALL

Kota Tinggi Waterfall is located 15km from Kota Tinggi town and around 60km from Johor Bahru.Its proximity to JB means that it can get crowded at weekends and school holidays and it is popular with Singaporeans who don't have many decent waterfalls at home.This popularity might explain the expensive admission charge compared to other waterfalls in Malaysia.
