President Veda Tatatwa Te Midnit and Emperor Zya Swa Ny Ya La have been working to set up the Sun, Moon, and Cloud Club for children. The clubs, which are open to all children with a relative in Ejah, are a realization that Ejah has little for young children to do. Ejah is constantly planning events and trips for adults, but what about children? While VTTM and ZSNYL are the ones who've got the club started, they are hoping that others interested in working with children as well as parents will take an interest in helping set up activities, events, meetings, and trips. The Zebulon have been busy planning events for this summer and people are already responding in kind. Already there has been a game night that went very well. There is also a movie night planned. In May, people will come together and social events like the BBQ, game night, and movie night. Plus we'll gather at graduations to watch fellow friends and Ejahns graduate from high school! June proves to be a busy month with the Trek Expo in Tulsa as well as the Tulsa Pride celebrations, Shakespeare in the Park both in Edmond and Enid, and of course the big trip to OKC for Ejahyad and Pride! Plus, the Zebulon will continue to schedule other local social events for everyone to come together. Plus, if you'd like to help out with the Zebulon, just e-mail Ejah or if you have ideas, feel free to share. Ejah is getting active and getting those social connections rolling, so make sure to mark your calendars for the events that you want to attend! As time goes on, the Zebulon will be in charge of larger vacation trips for Ejahns. There is talk of Seattle, San Diego, New York, Colorado, Latin America, or even Europe in the next few years depending on well everything works out early on.
Not only does Ejah use the yahoo groups for various purposes, but so do other organizations and even branches of Ejah. Pride Underground has its own yahoo group that people can sign up for and participate in as well as still receiving the paper or visiting the website. All Souls Church which includes Wicca classes, Hexenweg Coven, Gita Satsang, Dharma Friends, Reality Tweekers, Enid Metaphysical Club, Conversation With God Discussion Group, Enid Earth Circle, and much more have their yahoo groups as well. Ejah has its main yahoo group and many splinter yahoo groups, as well as yahoo groups where government officials meet to discuss such as the General Assembly and Supreme Court yahoo group.
Ejah: Organization, Nation, Society & More
That's the message that the Spirit of Ejah campaign is bringing. As Ejah is being reformed, vitalized, and polished up from the problems that plagued Ejah since 2000, the Spirit of Ejah campaign has worked alongside the leadership to get the message out of "what is Ejah?" It's a question that almost all Ejahns have been asked and a question that we almost always try to avoid. How do describe what Ejah is when it isn't just one thing? It's a group of people who meet for social reasons. It's friends and family. It's a nation, well micronation. It's an organization working towards different purposes. It's an umbrella organization for other organizations. It's a society. Yet, it is more than just those things. One person once responded to the question by answering "Join and find out for yourself." Most people are skeptical about Ejah and aren't always sure how to approach it. Afterall, Ejah is not a religion, not a political organization, not a humanitarian organization, not a macronation, not a cultural society, and not just a bunch of people who get together to have fun. Plus, with membership to Ejah being completely free, many people are skeptical about "what can you get for free?" Sometimes we've been hurt when people have mistakenly called us a cult or gang. They miss what Ejah is. Ejah is only what we make it. Since Ejah will turn 9 years old in May, we can look back and realize that what Ejah began to be has continually changed with the direction of the membership and hopefully it will continually change with time.
