A Look Back at Season One – Part 2
Here
is an exclusive look back at season one of Lives to Live, by the show’s
creator Alan Ryan. The Top Five Best Moments: Three: Paris and Nate's growing attraction Originally I had no intention of keeping the character of Paris
on the canvas for very long. She was just supposed to be a recurring
character, who only appeared a couple of times in the original season one.
But then I started to have fun writing her and Kayla's cat fights and decided
that she should stay. But I decided that things would have to change. Kayla
always saw Paris as a 'school slut', but I decided that this was just Kayla's
biased attitude, and that Paris wasn't really this super bitch as Kayla
thought. Then it came to the New Year's Eve party. I had all the
characters paired off for the episode, but then realised Nate and Paris were
left with no one. And there began the storyline. But despite different ups
and downs, Paris and Nate never got it together in season one, or season two. Two: Judi and Russell's affair Judi doesn't seem to have any luck when men, does she? She got
pregnant from an affair with a married man at twenty one, but still managed
to keep going and become a doctor. Now in her mid thirties, and having had several
brief relationships she starts an affair with another married man. But at the
same time she's after falling for a newly single patient, who could be
suicidal. Poor Judi! I really liked this storyline. Every episode Judi seemed to
change as to whether she wanted Alex or Russell. This storyline really was
central to season one. I do have some regrets about how it played out though,
like Alex not appearing after episode 14, but overall the storyline was
great. Camille's determination to make sure she didn't lose her husband was
also a great moment. One: Leslie attempts to kill Divine -
again Since episode five fans had pondered over who could be the
person who pushed Divine down the stairs at the Samson mansion. Victor,
Leslie and Gabe were the three most likely suspects. And as the shocking
truth was revealed, Leslie has pushed Divine, she again tried to kill her
arch rival. Leslie added strong sleeping pills to some cocaine Divine had
left at the penthouse. Divine rubbed the coke on her gums and was soon out
cold. Then Leslie sneaked away from her meal with Camille and set fire to the
penthouse. It was later revealed that no body had been found in the
penthouse. So is Divine alive or dead, and if Divine is alive, what would
happen to Leslie if Divine returned? What I really loved about this was the way it ended. The final
words: "Suddenly her red hair was gone, replaced by shorter blonde hair.
Leslie Samson smiled to herself. She felt great, knowing that Divine wouldn’t
be causing any more trouble for the Samson family again." This new,
killer side to Leslie was definitely a shocking twist. Legalities This site is a work of
