Tour of the Samson Mansion – Part 2
Chardonnay,
Nate, Leslie, Victor and Gabe all share this large home, located on the
outskirts of town. Learn more about it, and its history in this exclusive
tour. If you turn left in the entrance hall, then you will find
yourself in another corridor, with one door. This door brings you into the
lounge, complete with widescreen television, computer games and other
technical items, including a DVD player and a music system. Another turn and you will see a long hall, with three doors on
the right side and a sliding glass door on the left. The glass door leads to
the family swimming pool, used by all the family. A mosaic is on the floor of
the pool, with a pool guy attending to the pool at least once a week. Three
of the walls are made of glass, as is the roof of the pool. A door opens out
onto a wooden deck, with great views. Down the stairs of the deck, and around to the back of the
house is a patio area, with a grill and seating area. An arch leads into a
large back garden. Flowers are sown at the edge of the garden. A path runs straight
through the garden, with a turn to the left midway. Turning left here will lead you to the basketball court, used mainly
by Victor and Nate. Sometimes a net is put across the court, so tennis can be
played on it. In the garden, continuing straight ahead will lead you through
a gate and onto a driveway. Down this and you will arrive at the Samson
stables, with enough room for up to twelve horses, though six boxes are
usually vacant. Two trained assistants help with the horses, cleaning out the
boxes, feeding them and exercising them when the family are not around. Back indoors, and the swimming pool has a small fountain with
a waterfall at one side. A well stocked mini bar is at the other. The roof of
the pool is made of glass. The pool itself has a slope. The end with the
minibar nearby is shallow, with steps leading towards the minibar. The other
end is much deeper. Around the pool there are different pieces of gym equipment Back to the corridor, and the first door leads to a snooker room.
This is used mainly by Nate, though Victor has been known to use it
occasionally. Beside this room is a library/office used by Victor. It
includes a computer and several hundred books. Finally the third room on the right side is a large bathroom.
It has two doors, one at each side, and is partially under the stairs. If you
exit through the door on the right you will find yourself back in the
entrance hall, and near the kitchen. To the front of the house is the main driveway. This leads up to
the house from the security gates. You can also turn right at the house, and arrive
at the garage. Continue on past the garage and you will end up at the back of
the house, and then down another road until you arrive at the Samson stables. Guests often park their vehicles at the front of the house.
Steps lead up to the house, with flowerbeds at each side, taken care of by
professional gardeners. These professionals also do the back garden, and the
lawn at the front of the house, beside the driveway. There is a fountain,
made from special stone, to the right as you make your way up the drive. The front of the estate is surrounded by a large, brick wall.
Two large gates signal the beginning of the driveway up to the house, with a
small security office there. Ted and Kevin are the full time guards, with a
couple of other guards on a part time basis. All in all the house is magnificently decorated, with every
aspect and detail taken care of in the comfortable, spacious design. Coming
