Tour of the Samson Mansion – Part 1
Chardonnay,
Nate, Leslie, Victor and Gabe all share this large home, located on the outskirts
of town. Learn more about it, and its history in this exclusive tour. This house has been owned by the Samson's for almost twenty
five years. Victor and Leslie moved into it shortly after their marriage, and
are largely responsible for making the house the way it is today. The house
was originally much smaller, with only three bedrooms, a bathroom, a living
room, a kitchen and a small entrance hall. Over the intervening years, and
following two large building projects, the house has changed forever. Most of the original walls were knocked down, to make the
original rooms much larger. Also there were extensions put onto each side of
the house, including the very large one at the back and left, which added a
library, swimming pool with fountain and waterfall, a new kitchen and several
new bedrooms. Perhaps the most breathtaking sight in the entire house is the
large, marble staircase, which is the first sight a person sees when they
enter the house through the front door. The stairs are made of marble,
imported especially for the stairs. Flowing down the middle of the stairs is
an extremely expensive champagne colored carpet, which leads you up the
stairs. At the top of the stairs, there are two choices. You can
either turn left and go to Nate's bedroom and en-suite bathroom as well as
three of the five guest bedrooms, or turn right, which will bring you towards
Victor and Leslie's bedroom, bathroom and walk in wardrobe, or Chardonnay's
room, which is similarly built. Each of the bedrooms currently in use shares
a balcony, looking towards the spectacular views of the estate. Beyond Chardonnay's bedroom, are two more guest bedrooms and a
bathroom, especially for the guests. Back to the ground floor, and if you make a right turn as you
enter, you will find yourself in the living room, with large windows looking
out onto the driveway. The dining room is beside the living room, and they
are only separated by two large glass doors, almost always open. A large
wooden table takes up most of the room, with seating for up to sixteen
people. The Samson Family always has their evening meal in this room. Another door leads to a small corridor. If you turn left you will
be back in the main entrance hall and if you continue on straight ahead, you
will find yourself in the kitchen. The Samson's kitchen also has a large table, with seating for
ten people. There is also a breakfast bar opposite the main cooking area. The
Samson's maid, Rosa, uses the kitchen the most. She often cooks the family
dinner in the evening. Chardonnay also enjoys cooking, and sometimes gives
Rosa the night off so she can show her family her culinary skills. When
Chardonnay and Rosa aren't in the kitchen, the other members of the house can
sometimes be found behind the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the equipment needed to
make that perfect meal. The kitchen is also used by catering companies when
there is a party or special event happening at the mansion. On the right side of the kitchen are two doors. The one on the
left leads out to the garden, while the second leads to a small corridor,
with two more doors. This section was only built in the early nineties. The door
on the left leads to a laundry room, where Rosa can usually be found. If you
open up the door on the right side, you will find yourself in the Samson
garage, with parking spaces for eight vehicles, though only five are usually
filled. Victor, Leslie, Chardonnay, Gabe and Rosa all park their cars here,
though Rosa leaves for home after work. The Samson chauffer, Frank, frequently used when driving the
family to major events or to the airport, also parks the family limousine
here. Legalities This site is a work of
