Hey,

Long time no talk but I'm right now in Boston with my eldest sis, Lynn, and her fianc and his sister. I'm coming back tomorrow afternoon to Vienna. I guess you guys are in school right now. As for me, I'm having fun! *wink* I got here Saturday night and my flight was delayed for about an hour and a half so I only got to Lynn's apartment at 9:30pm. And we went to the Reagan Airport around 2:30ish in the afternoon. I was sooo bored in the airport with nothing to do. There wasn't even many people there so we didn't have to wait in line or anything. It was just my dad and I so we talked for a while and then he was busy videotaping everything (he loves that!) so I just listened to some Westlife songs. Hehe. And our plane was so small too. There were only about 15 people on the plane. I felt a little cramped and I had to bend my head a little because there wasn't much headroom.
The main reason we came here cuz of Lynn's graduation. Aye and my mom went to Charlottesville for Wynn's graduation. Their graduation dates are exactly the same so the family had to split up. That wasn't nice. *pout* So on Sunday morning, we all went to the convocation. We got there and got our seats around 9. The ceremony would only start at 11. And it was in the football field and there were rain clouds. The weather report said it was just gonna be cloudy but we took an umbrella just in case. Around 9:30, I felt some rain drops and soon, it started to rain. Some people had umbrellas but just like us, there weren't enough. We only had one for the three of us. KoWai just sat in the rain. I felt bad for him and told him that they might be giving away ponchos. So he went to find them. After a while, they were actually giving ponchos at the very front so we were near them. So my dad got them for us. We wore them but by that time we were already half wet. It was horrible. The graduates were wearing the orange ponchos over their red gowns too. I'm so glad our graduation is indoors. Whew!! But they had 3 big screens and they were taping the ceremony. And at the beginning, they had somewhat like a senior slideshow where they showed all the pix of the graduates throughout the 4 years and the song that goes "these are the days..." was playing. And then at the end, it says "Congratulations to the Class of 2004" and I got all teary. *sniff sniff* That would be very hard. So yeah, the ceremony went on till around 1:30 and we went into the city and ate lunch. And then we had to go to this place where Lynn would be getting her diploma. She needed to be there at 4:30 so we got there a little after 4. And the ceremony only started around 5:45 so there was a lot of waiting. You know how I hate waiting. I was sooo bored. Luckily, Ma Mee was there for the afternoon ceremony so we talked the whole time. Afterwards, there was a reception and we ate some more. I was soooo full! We walked home and it didn't take us that long. Maybe about 15 minutes so that wasn't too bad but it was freezing!!! It was supposed to be around 75 degrees and it was around 58 and Boston air is very chilly. Finally we got home and I was so happy. But they wanted to go back out for dinner so we did. That whole day was just waiting and eating basically.
The next day, we went shopping and just walking around everywhere. We went into the Boston Public Park too where we took lots of pix. And it was really funny one time. Lynn and I were sitting on a bench and the tree that was hovering above it was really shady. We were just talking but the leaves were kinda covering our faces. And our dad was on the other bench and was playing around with his video camera and he was taping us. This woman walked past us and as she walked past him, she turned to look at us and she gave him the biggest frown. I saw her and called out to my dad. Then she realized we were from the same family and that was when she calmed down. That was funny and we were just walking around all day hand in hand. We didn't know it till around 11pm that that day was when Massachusetts allowed same sex marriages. There were about 250 couples at City Hall. LOL. So that was funny!
Today we went to Harbor Point. The trip was long but it was worth it. It was so pretty there. Even though it was a little cold at times (because we were right next to the water) it was so nice there. We walked along the bank and we got to JFK Museum. It was almost closing but we looked at some of the stuff there. As we walked to the exit, we got to this big room with high ceilings and there was a little podium and a mic. So I wanted a picture as if I was giving a speech. So I got to it and asked KoWai to take a pic. But my voice boomed around the whole room. The mic was on! I didn't know that and I burst out laughing. That was so funny!!! But KoWai got a pic before I laughed like crazy. Everybody was looking at me too. I tried to talk again and again, my voice came out from the speakers around the room. That was definitely fun! It got warmer after we left the museum so we walked to this little neighborhood that overlooks the ocean. Lynn and KoWai wanted to rent an apartment there but decided not to at the last minute because the kitchen was small and they LOVE cooking! It was also because it's way out of the city. So we spent a few hours there enjoying the cool breeze and the warm sun. It was so nice. So we had dinner just now and we started to talk about their wedding for next summer. I'm so excited about it. I think it'll be awesome! They want to have a small gathering around here and then have an actual wedding in CA cuz that's where they'll be moving and his family and relatives are all there. My parents are talking about moving there too since Wynn will be moving there in August as well. David is going to graduate school at Berkeley and Wynn is gonna follow him there. So in a few years, we all might be in CA. That'll be interesting.
So yeah, I'm dead beat right now. I walked sooo much these past few days and had sooo much food too. These guys are crazy. They eat so much. For most of the meals, they eat out and when they do cook it's absolutely delicious. I haven't had much sleep either just cuz they don't sleep much. They're coffee addicts so I became one of them too. HAHA! Anyway, I should sleep soon. My flight is at 11:50 tomorrow morning so that means we have to leave around 9:50. I've packed everything so I'm good to go. It's quite funny. I came with a small bag and now I'm leaving with a luggage twice its size maybe more. ^_^ What can I say? Boston is awesome for shopping and eating. Apart from the old trains, the busy traffic and the cold, I like the city. Haha...that sums it up, huh? Yeah, it's nice to go visit and shop but not for me to live. It's too cold. Anyway, I'm going to bed. See ya soon!

~ Ei Ei :*

Baby, it's the way you make me
Kinda get me go crazy
Never want to stop
It's gotta be you
Uh huh, uh huh
All the way
