Hey,

Ok, this is all part of being on top of things again. I'm gonna try and write as much and as often as I can now. It has only been a few days since my last entry but I have so much to tell you. Of course, it should be like that since it's SPRING BREAK!!!!! WHOO! Haha...as you can tell, I'm sooo excited about it. I think it'll be a great spring break. I wonder if it'll top last year's. Hmm...we'll see about that. It's only the beginning. *wink*
NHStival was awesome! I picked up Carolina we got there before it started. There weren't that many people there yet. So we just talked for a while and waited for others. We were excited when Ali showed up cuz we thought she wouldn't be let out of TOK. The first 2 bands took forever and the 2nd band wouldn't get off the stage even when Mrs. Johnson said they should wrap it up. But it wasn't that bad. Malcolm came over and we talked for a while. He kept on getting me with that circle thingy and I was so mad! LOL. Carla and Meriem were just laughing. Towards the end of the show, about 2nd to last song, Lexi asked if I want to go down to the stage and I thought why not. I asked Carla and Meriem and they wanted to go too. So the four of us went down to the stage and cheered for VC. For the last song, they asked what we wanted to hear and I shouted, "Bon Jovi. It's My Life." And I think I was the only one requesting a song! Haha. They played that song and everyone was screaming! LOL. That was FUN! We were all singing along and jammin'. That thing that Matt did was so cool. He asked me to look at that black tube thing while he played so I did and I found out how it worked. That was awesome! "It's my life now or never. I ain't gonna live forever. I just wanna live while I'm alive." Whoo! :)
The next morning was the Open-Heart Surgery. It was interesting but after about an hour, we got bored a bit and ended up talking with each other. The patient didn't need a bypass though so the surgery was short. It ended after about 2 hrs. The scary part was when they sawed thru the sternum and that woman's bones were very healthy so they were very hard. The surgeon had to put his body weight onto the saw. I think the Splenectomy was much more interesting. The car ride was fun though. I had too much fun with Ify, Ryan and Arash last time so we wanted the same thing this time. It's just too funny to see and hear Ryan rap. Just to be clear, it's Ryan Tuttle. He's awesome at rapping and you won't know it cuz he's totally white so not the rapper type. But he was just like Ludacris, if you can imagine that! LOL. They were my entertainment while I drove. It was awesome. We got back to school around 10:15 and I was very much surprised that there were a lot of cars in the senior parking lot. It's Senior Skip Day!! Bryan and I needed to show Mr. Brannan the e.c. log so we went to his class. Mr. Kane has a class in that room at that time and we were surprised that there were at least 10 seniors in there. Afterwards, Arash and I went to check ourselves out cuz our moms called in. Haha...I know...but in my definition "skipping" means being excused. I never skip and I never will. We had just ran into Officer Harrington and Mr. Williams on our way in from the parking lot. We told them we just got back from the Bio field trip and they were nice about it. I didn't want to get into trouble. Anyway so we both didn't want to go home. I was supposed to be at Carolina's house around 12:30 and I didn't want to make 2 trips. So we went to Starbucks and we chilled there. The time went by pretty quickly and it was also funny to see Mr. Vander-Zanden (sp?) there. Of course, he doesn't know me but he had Arash last year. Arash didn't have anything to do afterwards so he came along with me. Ali got there a while later and we headed into DC. One scary thing was that there was a mysterious box on the metro. Everyone kept looking at it and it was making us uncomfortable a bit. On our way back, there was a PA announcement in the metro station saying that if anyone sees a suspicious person or baggages, report to the metro authority. Other than that, it was pretty good. I didn't like it that it was raining though.
So yesterday morning, both Ali and I got to Carolina's house exactly at 9. And they told me that Yesica was gonna be coming with us down to Mary Washington as well. We were gonna leave around 9 but Yesica couldn't find the house and we left only after 9:30. And then we were stuck in traffic but even then it only took us an hour and a half. Haha...I'm so precise with everything, huh? Always with the time!! Crazy me! The campus was nice. It was quiet and it has so many trees and flowers. We just explored around by ourselves. The Science Center was really nice. I loved it, esp. the 2 beautiful spiral stairs that lead to the bottom floor. It's pretty new and is right next to the gym. We saw some synchronized swimming and we danced around in the dance rooms too! Everything is opened to the students and I thought that was great. I could take swing or ballroom dance and that would be so much fun to do with Ali. She's positive she wants to go there. As for me, I'm not so sure yet. My parents really want me to go to GW and I have to make a really hard decision. I saw Mike Mattson, Sahar (a friend of my sis) and a friend of Cathy Risoleo from last year. It was nice to see some familiar faces from Marshall.
Afterwards, we went into Fredericksburg and went to some stores. The town is much like Old Town Alexandria but all the stores were closed at 6 and that was a bummer cuz we only got there after 5. But it was still fun to see the window displays. My fave store was the cat store! The whole store was for and about cats - toys, t-shirts, rugs, stickers, everything had cats on them. And the owners have this huge cat named Kaitlin and two kittens. The kittens were in the backroom but we still saw them. And Kaitlin was just a sweetheart! Carolina, Yesica and I are all cat people. Carolina has 2 gorgeous cats and Yesica has one. As for me, my mom doesn't like cats so I don't have any. But we used to have 3 cats back in Burma and I just miss them. *sniff sniff* Anyway we went to this little restaurant called Sammy T and it was so cozy. The food was awesome too. By the time we were done, it was 8 and we started to walk back to our car. And weird enough, there was nobody on the street! 8pm on a Saturday night and in the middle of the town - the main street, and there was no one on the street!! How crazy is that??! That wasn't too appealing. Where's the night life?? So we drove back home and it took us less than an hour so that wasn't bad at all. We didn't get a chance to go to Central Park though. Haha...I know what you're thinking! But there's this huge, and I mean HUGE, shopping center near campus and it's called Central Park. We didn't know how much time we would be spending in town so we didn't go there. But even then we were really tired when we got home. We walked so much the whole day. But all of us had a great time and "it was a nice day!" Hehe...*wink*
The beginning of my Spring Break seems to be going well. Right now, I'm just thinking of being there at UVA on Tuesday. I'll be there till Sunday so it'd be fun to hang out with my sisters. I need to go visit George Washington too so I might do that tomorrow. We'll see. My dad is insisting on me to go there. It's really expensive though - $47,000. But I got about $31,000 from GW so that's a lot of money. It's a really good school too. There were 20,000 applicants this year and only 2,500 were accepted. That's even better than UVA. But I don't know if I'd like the city life, esp. DC! I'll be half hour away from home. Then again, it's an awesome school. Ugh...I hate making decisions esp. when I'm so indecisive about things!! We'll see how it goes...Well, bye for now.

So close your eyes
And let me kiss you
And while you sleep
I will miss you
Falling into you
This dream will come true
And it feels so good
Falling into you
Falling like a leave
Falling like a star
Finding a belief
Falling into you
