Sigh...I don't even know where to start. Everything has been crazy and I don't really know what to do about it. School makes up some of the stress but other things as well. I can't really talk about it but it's just here with me and it's pulling me down. The weather isn't too good either. It's rainy and cold and we even have fog. That's pretty unusual. And I'm just here to take a little break from all the work that I need to do.
I had an ok weekend. After writing the last entry, Ali called me and we went out to Tara Thai with Carolina and Lindsay. I haven't talked to Lindz in ages!! We don't have any classes and we are always busy with so many things. So that was a great time to catch up and goof around. We had a great time. We did goof around a lot! Haha...Pikachu Noodles...can you believe that? They actually have a meal with a pokemon name. I wanted Carolina or Ali to get that (since Lindz and I were getting delicious food - Pad Thai! :P) And I wanted the waiter to say "Pikachu" in Pikachu's voice. LOL....it's SOOOO cute!! But yeah, that was hilarious. Lindz had to leave afterwards though cuz she was going shopping with her parents. So the rest of us just went to some stores and talked some more. Seriously, we never finish talking! We looked at some things for potential presents but hehe...you guys can't know that! *wink* Ali came back to my house for a bit after that but since she was getting sick, she went home. It was around midnight and I went online for people to talk to. And I ended up talking to people till 3am! And I didn't sleep till around 4! So I had to pay for that this week. :(
The next day, I had to do Group 4 all day and that really tired me out. My group isn't that bad. In fact, everyone was pretty good but I just had to take charge and I paid for that. One of my weaknesses is that I can't have anything disorganized. So I arranged everything and took up most of the work. And that put way too much stress on me. I was thinking about 8 people at one time and what they needed to do. And many of them just let me take charge and assumed I was gonna do it all. They did come to most of the meetings except one but I had to do a lot of behind-the-scenes work. And some of the work that they did didn't satisfy me so I had to add more in. That happened on Monday afternoon and we were about to set up the poster and I realized the conclusion was only the Physics part so I had to type up the Chemisty and Biology parts as well. They all appreciate all my efforts but it was just too much for me. I was totally flipping out on Monday and thank god Arash was there to help me out. THANK YOU THANK YOU! So from 2-8pm on Sunday, I was working on the board. And then on Monday from 2:30 to 4, I was again working on it. I probably put about 24hrs into this project and Group 4 isn't really that big a deal. The min. was supposed to be 10hrs and most people put in about 12-15hrs. So I did all that work for extra. Why do I have to be such a perfectionist??? Ohhhh...I really hate that about myself sometimes. And then of course, I had to go back to school for evaluations and presentations that night for an hour and a half. And on top of everything, since I'm a doubler, I have to get all the stuff about the project in Bio and Physics lab notebooks, along with all the other work for other classes!!
I couldn't even get up on Tuesday! My alarm went off and I switched it off and went back to sleep. I thought it was a dream! My dad had to wake me up at 7. I got up and I had a headache, stuffy nose and a scratchy throat. But I still went to school anyway just cuz I'm so crazy like that. I didn't want to miss anything. What kind of a person am I??? Haha! *shaking head* I only missed about 15 minutes so it wasn't that bad. But I was so groggy. Bio brighten me up though. Ify was making jokes and we talked and that woke me up. And plus we started on a lab and we had to fill these petri dishes with amphicillin using a long pipet. Mrs. Thomas was observing us and helping us a bit. I did mine and she complimented me!! She said, "You are ready for NIH!" and I beamed! Hehe...:D For those of you who don't know what NIH means, it's National Institutes of Health and they do a lot of scientific research. I would love to do that! But yeah, haha...GEEK! And of course, as usual, I had no lunch time afterwards. I had to work on History while I ate. I really love that one-hour lunch break. I could get a lot of work done. But now, teachers are saying that they might change it back to half-hour starting 2nd semester. :( NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! (Haha...that reminds me of something. *wink*) They really can't do that though. I really need that hour to do a lot of work. They're saying that we've had the most fights this year and they think it has to do with a long lunch and the whole school having nothing to do. Hmm...I don't know about that.
Today was ok, I guess. I was soo tired though. And during Math, the fire alarm went off and we had to go outside. It was freezing! And we stood there for about 10-15 minutes (I don't know why!). AND it had to start raining. It was a drizzle though but since we were outside for a while, we all were wet! UGH! Why do all the bad things happen at once? Always! I haven't had a good day in about 2 weeks. Something bad keeps happening. Sigh...but after Earth Force, Meriem and I walked to her car and we talked a bit. Just telling her what's been going on. And when I walked to my car, I suddenly realized something! I was walking in this foggy, cold weather and I had on my long black coat and black scarf with my hands in my pocket. I remembered Westlife video of "My Love" and I started singing!!! Haha...good that no one was there! Now that I think about it, it was more like "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" video. Ohh...good news...somewhat, I think...Haha! BUT I hear that BSB is going back to the studio to record some songs!!!! I can't wait! *shriek* That's gonna be tight! Oh, one more thing...I'm in the midst of finishing up the Cuties section. So wait for a while more and it'd be up, ok? It's taking a long time cuz there's some problems with the pictures. So just wait a while more. *wink* See? So this did cheer me up! I'm feeling better than when I started writing. Ok, tootles for now! :)
