Hey guyz,
Wow...it's crazy! It has been more than a month since I last wrote. So sorry about that. But lately I haven't been online a lot and I'm constantly working on something or having fun. I have so much to talk about but I'll try to condense them. Right now I'm at UVA in Aye's room. It's only 9:30 but I couldn't sleep so I got up. We went to bed at around 2 so I don't know why I can't sleep. Hmm...Anyway, let me try to tell you what I've been up to while I was gone.
Christmas Break was AWESOME! Catching up on sleep which usually means from 4am to 1pm!! HAHA! Seriously, I'm nocturnal. I like to stay up late. But that threw me off when I had to go back to school and had to get up at 6am. I was so sleepy in class. I'm getting side-tracked. So yeah, Aye and Wynn were back home for a month too. Maybe that's why I didn't update this site -- too busy chatting with them! LOL. Probably right. It was so much fun to have them around. I hate being alone at home and being me, I'm so talkative and full of energy. Having them home was very nice. I did a lot of shopping too for Christmas. As usual, I waited for the last minute to buy presents. I like that rush. So I was shopping everyday for the first 3 or 4 days of vacation. I got some pretty cool stuff too. Thank you everyone! Haha...my thank you's are way too late! New Year was fun too. I cannot believe that it's already 2004. Time has flew by so fast! I keep thinking it's like 2000 or something. I keep thinking that 1999 was just a while ago when it's actually been 5 yrs ago!!! AHHH! This is crazy! Can you believe it? In just less than 5 months, I'll be graduating! *Shriek* What a scary thought. I know I've been wanting this forever but going away to college and away from my friends actually scare me. It's gonna be so different. A brand new beginning and I don't know if I like that. I don't want to part with my friends. *sniff sniff* Sigh...
Ohh...I cut my hair too!! Yeah, that's a shock, hehe...Well, I've had my long hair for a long time now. I haven't cut it in 2 yrs. It reached my thights. I wanted to cut it. It was getting way too long and too annoying. So I finally did it. I cut it pretty short - just below my shoulders. I layered it too. I like it and it's a total change from my usual long hair. It's easier to manage. I gave a shock to everyone when I went to school with my new hairstyle. I caused some commotion...hehe! People were screaming in the hallways...LOL! But everyone likes it. Well, that's enough about my hair. :D
Ali's birthday was so much fun as well. Sylvie, Carolina and I celebrated it with her last weekend and it was completely crazy!! Hehe...I won't mention details. But we went to Reston Town Center and it was snowing. The roads were icy but the snow was beautiful. We had our dinner at Ruby Tuesday and then we went ice-skating. It was so nice. There were only about 10 people in total including us. And the snow was gently falling and it was so pretty. But being a beginner at skating (well, this was the third time!), I wasn't doing so well. I can't seem to glide and I keep walking on the ice. And it defies the rules of being on the ground. I'm used to leaning backward when I lose balance. But now I have to lean forward. Sylvie was making fun me - imitating my hesitant skating, well more like walking cautiously! So I fell down 3 times! Twice were on my own because the ice was pretty slippery since not many people were there. And the third time was cuz Ali pushed me from behind at a great speed and let me go. I fell, dragging her down with me. Haha...that was fun! But it was pretty funny though. The 2nd time I fell (which was a really bad one and I was all by myself), my girls were all the way on the other side. I felt my body lift up and then fall. Back first, then butt and then my elbow. OUCH! It was loud too and since there was really no one there, everybody saw me and heard me. *blush* But then this guy quickly came to me and asked if I was ok. I was kinda embarrassed so I said yeah and I tried to get up on my own. By that time, my girls were already there. One guy skated past us and yelled, "You were the first to fall!" And I was like "THANKS!!" But that guy who was with us said, "I used to play ice hockey. But I'm pretty sure I'm gonna fall too." And then he left. I thought that was extremely sweet. Yeah right, he'd fall. He was really good. But that was really nice. When Ali and I fell, he came by again asking if we needed help. That was very gentleman-ly. Afterwards, we went to watch "Big Fish." I didn't think it'd be any good but it was amazing! I cried twice! I really liked it. We stayed up till 5 talking too. Well, that was actually just Carolina and I. Sylvie was down at 2 and Ali was down at 4. Haha...wimps! HEHE! But that was definitely fun! We didn't want to go back to reality the next day. Luckily, it was a 3-day weekend so it wasn't too bad. But it was definitely memorable!!
Last week was horrible. I had so much to do and so little time. I was doing homework from the time that I got home till when I went to bed. I had no rest at all. And since it was a short week, I thought it would go by quickly but it didn't. It was also probably because I was looking forward to my long weekend here at UVA. Well, but finally I'm here. It's supposed to snow today too. So we'll see what we do today. Hopefully, I can get back to Falls Church without difficulty on Tuesday. Being here has revived some old memories though. And I'm missing a few people. Well, let's leave it at that. Aye has finally got up so I'm gonna go now. I hope I can update some more this week. But I'm done with the Cuties section so go check that out if you haven't. Sorry for taking so long though. Well, tootles!
