How's everyone doing?? I'm so hyped up right now! Whoo!!! Haha...all cuz of our performance at the Faculty game tonight. I hope you guys were there!!! Some booty shaking going on! LOL. *wink* But yeah, we were SOOO TIGHT! And so HOT! Haha...it was awesome!
So yeah, the day started off pretty ok. I wore my PJs to show support for the game and I was very comfortable. Mmm...haha! :P Bio was...interesting...We've been crossing fruit flies and breeding them. And Ify and my vial had tons of new flies! There were more than a hundred. So you can imagine trying to nap them and put them under the dissecting microscope trying to observe them. No, no, no disecting involved. Whew, thank God! Haha. But we had to observed the sex-linked traits...Anyway, I'm off topic and getting Bio involved in here. Haha...what can I say? I LOVE Bio! But we were trying to anesthetize the flies but since there were so many of them, it was hard to control all of them. It was chaotic. A few were trying to walk around. But a few other groups pitched in and we got them under control. Whew!
So that was Bio. We had practice for Dance during lunch and first part of History was good. We got back our Document Analysis and I got a pretty good grade in spite of others'. And my grade is now an A if Mr. Brannan doesn't include the test in there. Seriously, I bombed that test and those two essays were the worst essays I've ever written. So if he gets them graded by tomorrow, he's gonna put that in. Oh, please, please. I hope he didn't have time. :)
So I came home and did my French hw which took forever! We haven't even finished the movie and we had to write 4 paragraphs about the film and the text of "Les Mis�rables." So I kinda winged it. Hopefully, she would be nice tomorrow and won't collect them. And then I had to rush off to school before 6. We put our make-up on and got ready. The hats were pinned down with about 20 pins for each of us. At least, I had about that much. I was getting so nervous too cuz this morning I found out that we were going against the Madison Dance Team and they had won the nationals. So I was really nervous. Ahmad, one of our co-captains, reassured us it was gonna be okay. Actually, he reassured me. I probabaly looked too obvious. So Marshall Faculty against Madison's, our Cheerleading against theirs and our Dance Team against theirs. It was the first time they've done this. During half-time, Madison team went first. We got to meet them before the show. They had designed costumes and they even have a coach. So they did their dance and all my worries were gone. They were BAD!! Seriously, I don't know how they got the trophy but it wasn't good at all. Later, Ali told me they did a move from her 6th grade tapping class. Haha!! So afterwards, it was our turn. We got into our positions and the music didn't come on for a while. All the while, the whole audience was yelling and so were my friends. I was so hyped up and ready to go. Ali was screaming my name and amidst the yelling, I heard, "Go Ei Ei, you sexy mama!" I turned to look and I didn't know where that came from or from who. (Later, I found out it was Lindsay. Haha...thanx, Lindz!) I laughed and when the music came on we did our dance. It was AWESOME! The adrenaline rush had me going and I did the whole dance without even thinking for a bit. Everything clicked in and everybody was in sync. When we were done, I wanted to do it again. I had so much fun!! Glenda had ripped her pants at the rear end doing one of the moves at the beginning. :O It was about 10 inches long and she gasped. Both Ahmad and I looked at each other and we were both in shock but we all continued. The crowd from the other side gasped too. It was crazy. I feel so sorry for her. But she did the whole dance anyway and that's gotta be a big plus for her. :>
We were the better Dance Team and our cheerleaders were better too. But our faculty...sigh...was horrible! We lost 38-56. Mr. Sanders (he used to be at Marshall and moved to Madison, our rival, last year) was playing hard. He was good but we all were against him. We booed him when he made shots and Jeremy Klem, who was at the mic, was dissing him. Haha...it was great! All the teachers were being hard on him too. But it was all for fun and he didn't take it seriously. After the game, I saw him and I said hi. He did the same but since he was talking to some teachers, we didn't get a chance to talk. He used to be my history teacher in Freshman year. Man, he was scary! He is the kind of guy that you are afraid of while you still love him. He is an awesome teacher and I learned so much in that class. But I was so scared of him. He was following Machiavelli's saying, "It is better to be feared than loved." But it was nice to see him again. He's still cool.
So yeah, the game ended a lot earlier than I had thought. I got back before 9 and now, I'm just chilling. It's great. I don't have much to do. And to think tomorrow is already Thursday. Wow, school should just be 3 days a week. That'd be great! Haha...as if! And plus, Aye is coming back on Friday for the weekend!!! Yay! Hehe...well, I'm gonna go now. Talk to ya laterz! :P
