This is for real!
It ia a Raccoon Dog.
(Nyctereutes procyonoides)
This animal is native to Eastern Asia, the Far East, China, Japan and North Indochina, and has been introduced into parts of Europe. It looks very much like the Raccoon, but is not related to it. The Raccoon Dog weighs about 17 lbs and has long, brindled black and brown coat with black face and legs and striped tail. It consumes a wide diet including fruit, insects, invertebrates and occasionally small mammels. |

While Dad enjoyed the TV, Mucki didn't like what was on the channel. She simply covered her eyes. She purred like a cat but a lot louder and sucked on his arm until she fell asleep. |

It became more and more obvious that they considered us their parents. I was worried that they would be helpless in the winter which was coming soon.The boy we called "Blacky" was the first one to leave.Than, the one we called "Bum", was the second one. with 'Browny" and "Silver" next. Finally "Mucki" learned that there is a life without us and in the first week in December, when the snow started falling, she too deceided to leave and by instinct knew to hibernate. I cried thinking I will never see them again but loved them enough to know that they are where they belong......back in the wild. Was this the last we were going to see of them?
