The roof came in four rectangular section that were glued end to end, and strengthend with four pieces of styrene provided in the kit. I sprayed this with Polly Scale Engine Black, and added some roof vents and ventilators from Walthers Roof Detailing (933-3158) and an air conditioner for the office(933-3157)
Even with a piece of code 83 track, the rail door was tall enough to fit a modern 60 foot high cube boxcar inside. The foudation was the same thickness as an Atlas track tie, so I had to only cut a couple off the ends.
All in all, this was a fun kit to put together. Except for adding the scratchbuilt rail dock, it only took me a couple of hours to put together. Though with big windows I'd suggest either a veiw block or interior. With its large rail loading doors, it will be great for operations of any era. Pick up two kits and make a huge warehouse or factory. Just bring a hand truck with you, with the weight of two kits, your going need it to get them to the car.
A sheet of cardstock weathered and un-weatherd signs, not a decal, are provided. You can cut them out and glue them to the bulding using either white glue or rubber cement..
