SERVING THE COMMUNITY

Every year the Eielson AFB Thrift Shop donates hundreds of dollars to the local military and civilian communities. The Thrift Shop provides an outlet for military members to sell their used clothing, furniture, and household items. In addition, the Thrift Shop sends merchandise it cannot use to the Salvation Army and other charities.

 

VOLUNTEERING YOUR TIME

The OSC operates theThrift Shop:

          Monday            10 a.m.  Til     2 p.m.

          Tuesday             6 p.m.  Til    9 p.m.

          Wednesday       10 a.m.  Til     2 p.m

          1st Saturday     10 a.m.  Til     2 p.m.

          3rd Saturday    10 a.m.  Til     2 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to take and process consignments, markdown prices, sort and price donations, and straighten shelves. No experience is necessary...we provide excellent on-the-job training!
