Our Mission Statement:
To instill in the cadets of Edgewater High School JROTC the values of citizenship, personal responsibility, and to develop self-confidence.

Our Objectives are:
1. Promote Patriotism
2. Develop informed and responsible citizens
3. Promote Habits of orderliness, precision, and to develop respect for constituted authority.

JROTC helps students develop the skills for a successful and productive life through self-confidence, responsibility, and other skills needed to succeed not only throughout high school but in life altogether. Cadets in JROTC work through a chain of command with increasing responsibility for every rank earned. Young men and women of our MC JROTC class are given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, physical fitness, and learn to work together as a cooperative society. As a JROTC cadet you will learn leadership, public speaking skills, group dynamics, first aid, physical fitness, military drill, and personal well being.
