| Egyptian sculptors used many materials such as clay, wood, metal, ivory, and stone which was the most plentiful and permanent, available in a wide variety of colors and hardness. Sculpture was often painted in vivid hues as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Modern Egyptian paintors often work within one of these three topics:historical and national themes, political themes such as Israels and the West's attitude toward Arab states, and expressive motifs. Some Important aspects of modern Egyptian art: On of which being the Pharaonic aspects where some artists are inspired by the principles of composition in classical ancient paintings and sculptures.And thuse they reflect that in their paintings. Another is Islamic aspects which some artists use in their paintings.The national heritage of Islamic countries play an important part in Egyptian Art. And the last is Cultural Diversity. Egypt's culture is very complex filled with differen religions, dynasties, and rulers. This cultural diversity is important ot Egyptian artists and thus is shown in paintings. |
