| Egypt have decided to play many games before ACN 2004.But the participation of Ahly's lethal striker Ahmed Belal seems rather doubtful due to injury, though attempts are being made at rehabilitation for the top Vodafone Premiership goalscorer to join Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' up front in the game. On the other hand, Mido himself is currently not with the team, as he joined his Spanish side Celta Vigo in their remaining games in the Spanish La Liga, and is scheduled to return and participate in the Madagascar encounter before travelling back to Spain to fight it off with his team against Barcelona. The EFA also decided on the match timing and venue, with Port Said Stadium hosting the event after hosting the Mauritius game previously, with the match being played on Friday the 20th of June at 8:30 Cairo local time, and refereed by a Tunisian umpire team.
