MONUMENTS
Hebis Temple
This temple is located about one
kilometer north elkharga .so, this temple represents different
historic periods : pharaonic and Persian . its history dates back to
. the pharaonic period ( the family of 26 th ) ( a moon , mot ,
khenso ) built it . it is daughter Erees has begun then one of his
daughters has completed it at the age of aban .the first part in the
front of the temple to the king nikhtnpo in 350 B.C the temple
begins with sanctuary lake from the East . then hawser ; then Roman
gate which carries Greece variegation . there is Elkabash road where
arrives at the huge gate then to the main gate.

El bagawat cemetery

it is located about three kilometer
north Elkharga , and behind HEBIS TEMPLE .its name back to its
fashion building ,its date from the second century until the seventh
century . this cemetery includes 263 tombs ,likes small churches
.these churches were built like dome style and in its middle there
are therwins of a church wich is considered one of the most
important churches in Egypt . one of the most ancient copetic
churches in Egypt . one of the most important churches is the (exit
) church or tomb its pictures and drawings narrates the story of the
exit of israel's sons from Egypt followed by the pharaohu in his
soldiers next the tomb of peace and in it there are picture of Gacub
and the virigin and the two priests Bola and nekla . on the other
tombs there are drawings and colourful writing narrate the stories
of Christian history in Egypt .
Ellabakha
It is 13 km north of KHARGA AND IT
INCLUDES THE RUNIS of a castle and a temple spread all around the
hills of the area . there are akasia trees and palm trees there are
the old cands that were designed to collect water and to irrigate
the area in the roman age .
Nadoura castle or
palace
It
is one kilometer from el kharga from the eastern border of the hibis
temple . it is called El nadoura because it was used in the Turkish
and mawlok age to discover the Emperor Antanious beos in the earlyse
cond century and there is still the rest of some ancient Egyptian
writings and relief picture of the goddess Efrudit .
Mustafa el kashif
palace or castle
It is less than akilometre from behind
the Bagawat graveyard and it is considered (is to be ) the ruins of
aroman fortress from the weste3rnside .
EL Ghwita Temple

And it is about 21 km south of
kharga and it is on EL Arbeen Darb (path ) between Egypt and sudan .
it dates back to (522 BC) IT WAS CONSRUCTED TO WORSHIP THE HOLLY
TRININTY (amoon – mut kinso ) and there are drawings carved on its
wall . they are of Batlaymus yinbs the crown of the north . the
temple ends writh the Holy of Holies . and next to it the domes and
cabrins (dome like ) cobins .
Dush temple in Baris

the desert . it was built and constructed to worship the god Ayusius
. it dates back to the Roman age .the age of roman emperor on its
wall there are views of the emperor tarhan apreseting .the holy

KASR EL ZAYAN TEMPLE
IT LIES SOUTH OF el ghawata castle
on the road of el arbaeen and 25 km south of kharga. Its
construction dates back to the pharaohs it was constructed tow or
ship the god of Hayeet and on its walls we can see drawings
illustrating amlik presenting the statue of Maait as amon god used
for watching the road of Elarbaeen .
