Tourism Facilities     

              
T.A.A in the governorate exerts great efforts to encourage tourism by :
* building rest houses in tourist places where there are not accommodation till the private sector has its chance to build hotels there.
* beautifying the tourist place, paving roads and building cafeterias and bazaars there .
* developing the working rest houses to be suitable for the governorate guests .
* preparing tourist booklets and video tapes with the help of the ministry of tourism and T.A.A .
* participating in local and international displays and conferences that advertise tourism .
* meeting the governorate guests from Egyptians and foreigners supplying them with tourist information besides preparing tourist programmers for guests , media and businessmen .
 the prices of lands for tourist projects have been stated as follows :
a) Sites inside the city which are well- equipped : 10 L.E for M2.
b) Sites inside the city which lack facilities : 2 L.E for M2 .
c) Sites outside the city which lack facilities : 1 L.E for M2.
d) Well –equipped sites in villages : 3 L.E M2 .
 Science tourism
- desert and geological features in the new valley will find a good area to researchers to do their researches in various fields besides the archaeological field which has been adopted by some foreign countries .
