Identity of The New valley Governorate

The New Valley was known before as the western desent governorate and by opplying the system of local administratoration in 1961 , the New Valley  Governorate was established to be included in the new administrative devision .
 

the location of the new valley :

the new valley lies in the western south port of the arab republic of egypt . north is limted and bordered by EL Minia , Giza,Matruh, east is Assuit,sohag,Qena,west LYBIA ,south sudan .

Area

the area of the governorate 440098sq KM which is equal to 44% of the whole area of the arab republic of EGYPT and its population is about person for each two sqk .

Climate

EL Wadi EL Gedid the new valley is distingwised by dry weather is summer ,warm ,in winter rain is rare. the governorate is disting uished by the most great a mount of sunshine all over the year or around the year , it exceedr all of governorate of ARE in this .becouse of the important in developing tourism ,the governorate , excutive leadership, people , association, national community peoples are interested in samitation and public cleariness to create a clean healthy community and adding a number of public gardens , parks in towns and villages in addition to banning using agriculture insecticides in the circle or range of the inhabitant places of the governorate .

 population

the number of the inhabitant (population) is about 194877000 at the end of 2001 in town and 436 % - 11.200 people in the country . it is 56.4% of the total population .

Administrative division

EL Kharga is the capital of the new valley Governorate , the Governorate includes 4 centers or cities which are EL Kharga , Dakhala ,Farafra ,paris . there towns , 18 village (ruling body) followed by 160 villages . the governorate decision number 293 in the year 2001 to establish a new number of these ruling body units of five which are EL Zayat , Darb ALArbeen , Abu Munkar , Ganah , and EL Sherka .

The Governorate Motto

it is consisted of , the culture and civilization mark in the valley , Hibis temple , the symbol of palmtree which gives the fame to the New Valley . it is considered the national harvest of the governoate in the new valley . it also include the bright rising sun which gives the meaning of uprising of a new dowen in the valley that especial dear part of our dear EGYPT . our motto is , faithfullness , work, development .
