Drying and packing dates

as aresult of improving the agricultural service that leads to increasing the date production . the amount of the Siwain dates is about 6964 feddans , the Tamr dates is about 427 feddansand about 42700 palm trees that produce about 1700 tones in addition to other types like Elmantour dates , Elhegazy dates and others .there are eight date factories in the governorate five in Elkhargah and three in Eldakhlah .

Tomato sauce industry

the governorate production of tomatoes is about 22208,45 tones , so a factory that belonged to the armed forces has been built in Elkhargah that produces about 0,5 tone per hour andworks for two shifts a day to produce form 8 to 10 tones saucea day .

 Provender Industry

As a kind of encouraging the governorate for private sector and investors , a factory for provender has been built in Elkhargah and another one in sharque elewainatt  two other factories are under establishing in Eldakhalah industrial area .

Olives oil and production industry

the production of olives in our governorate is about 2380 tonesof the total grown area and that is about 590 feddans . and thereare about three squeezers in Moutt , Elkassr and Elfarafrah with50 kg per hour ability .
