Sonic Advance is the first Sonic game on a Nintendo system. It has been praised by the gaming community on the whole for its excellent gameplay and is one of the best selling games on the GBA. This game returns to the earlier 2D style of the classic MD games. But now it has the characters in their SA looks. The game is the first GBA game to use the Gamecube/GBA link up cable to transfer chao data from/to the Tiny Chao Garden on Sonic Advance to/from the Chao Gardens in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.
