LIVING ON THE LEEWARD SIDE
We've done quite well these several years
Living on the leeward side

The flock is now and nearly four-fold
With lambs, not far away, in almost every belly

And water and grass, yes there is a'plenty
The flock is satisfied and much the same as me

And now, the son of me says this,
"Father, I shall divide the flock"
THIS POEM IS ALL ABOUT THE HOPE FOR RECONCILIATION
Not many (granted) must I send to him
And yes,
He has a skill for their protection
- this he got from me -

But, he will make his camp upon the Other Side,
You know it, yes ? The windward side !
The pride of youth, I curse it not ...
I shall send all these sheep to him
And I shall keep but one

This shall be the Lamb of God,
Praying,

"O Heaven help my son !"
