Baking Tips
- If you are making a layered cake, flatten the rounded top of each cake using a long serrated knife.
- If you use granulated sugar, allow the batter to sit for a few minutes after mixing it. After letting it sit mix it again before putting it in pans. If the sugar does not dissolve completely it can sink to the bottom of the pan and burn, making the cake hard to remove from the pan.
