Wrexham 0 Everton 2, The Racecourse, Saturday 3 August 2002

Chinese stars Li Tie and Li Wie Feng made their Everton debuts as half time substitutes as the Blues cruised past Wrexham.

Juliano Rodrigo also made his official Everton debut after signing although he had featured already in pre-season whilst on trial.

Rodrigo marked the occasion with his first Everton goal. He converted a second half penalty after Idan Tal was brought down by the Wrexham 'keeper inside the box.

Rodrigo had previously set up Tomasz Radzinski for the opener in the first half.

In the glorious Welsh sunshine the Blues strolled to a much more comfortable victory than a 2-0 scoreline might suggest.
