My friends and I took a bus to Portsmouth and a jet ferry to a very beautiful island, Isle of Wight on the fourth Sunday. It was a bonus that we had another marvellous sunny day on the island.
The island is as big as a small county. Many rich people live there as the scenery and the environment are excellent. It took us 15 minutes to take the jet ferry trip from Portsmouth. It is hilly with some fields. The coastal features are splendid.
The bus trip on the island was quite long and we decided to go to Needles (which you can't thread).
In the afternoon, we needed to hurry back to Ryde, the ferry pier to catch the ferry and bus back to Portsmouth and then Bognor Regis.
Before the presentation for assessment on Wednesday and Thursday, we went to Petworth, about 45 minutes away from Bognor Regis. There is a very big house of a wealthy family. There is a big garden with a big lake. The servants' quarters and the kitchen are also worth looking at.
