| After a weekend that saw several spins and off-track excursions, a DNF, a race from the back of the grid, a rain race, and contact with another competitor, rookie driver Ed Hunt was able to take home the win at the Deutcher Automobil Club Trillium Trophy Event at Shannonville. "I knew after Friday practice that the car was going to be fast." said Hunt about the Schmidt Racing Jetta VR-6. Once the rain started falling for Race #3 and we put the Goodyear wets on, I knew I was going to have a good race." Sure enough it was. Hunt ended the weekend on the top of the podium. |
