Growing up just north of Mosport International Raceway, and close to the Molson Indy in Toronto, and Barrie and Varny speedways, I was fortunate to spend many days at the track and in the pits.
My skill as a driver comes not from a lifetime of track experience, but rather a childhood of competitive sports; namely cycling and alpine skiing. From a young age I raced mountain bikes, triathelons, and Giant Slalom and Slalom racing. With mountain biking and alpine skiing I was able to work my way up the ladder to the professional categories in each. Honestly, it was my love for motorsports that turned me away from blooming professional career as a cyclist.
Upon graduation from University in 2000, I have been focussing on my racing portfolio. I have attended two courses at Autosport BASI's race training centre in Quebec, I have been spending as much time as possible behind the wheel and I have surrounded myself with the right people. I finished 2nd in points after my first season of road racing.
Now after a two season hiatus I am back and in what I feel is the best driving shape of my life. I feel strong and focussed and I am ready to win some races.
