Eduardo Rafael Llapa Rodríguez Computer Vision Laboratory Eduardo Llapa received the B.S. degree in system engineering from the Catholic University of Santa Maria in 1999, B.S. degree in computer science from the Federal University of São Carlos in 2005 and Master degree in 2005 from the University of São Paulo in Electrical Engineering. He did his Master with Prof. Adilson Gonzaga at the Computer Vision Laboratory. From July 2005, he is doing his Ph.D. with Prof. Evandro Luis Linhari Rodrigues at the Computer Vision Laboratory. He was an associate research scientist of both the TIDIA project (2005 - 2006) and the Innolution enterprise (2006 - 2007). Since february 2008, he has been with Pentagro venture. He is a Senior Member of Peruvian Computer Society and has served as program committee member on numerous leading conferences in computer graphics and image processing. His research interests include Imaging: Image formation and acquisition, Image processing: Edge detection and Matching, Content-based image retrieval (CBIR), Medical imaging: Ultrasound Images in Medical Diagnosis and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
