I am a 21 year old Elementary Education major with a concentration in Social Science at Eastern Illinois University. I have been studying at EIU since the fall of 2003. I previously attended Bradley University from 2000-2003, where I studied broadcasting communications. Besides going to school, I am very involved in music, which has always been a big part of my life. I have played in a couple different bands over the last few years, and it has really been a great outlet for me. I am also a member of an intramural ultimate frisbee team, which consists of a group of friends that otherwise would not get out of bed to run around and chase a frisbee, but seem to be very effective as a team. I am probably a pretty stereotypical 21 year old college student, but would like to think that I'm unique. I guess what makes me unique is the fact that since I'm an Elementary Ed. major, I am usually one of the only guys in the entire class. Even though becoming an elementary teacher may not be something that most guys choose to pursue - it is very important to me, and I take it very seriously. |
