MY RIMS
OTHER BEER STUFF
We'll start with the long shot at the left, then the bottom of the mash tun with the valve and the QD above the pump(above).  Then below and to the left is the pump, and to the right is where the line from the pump comes out.
At the left are the 2 pictures of the top and bottom of the heating unit.  On the top one you will notice the QD that is connected to the tube running to the sparge arm.  (below)  Also, you can see the dimmer switch that is used to control the flow of electricity to the heating element.
To this point, I'm not totally happy with how the H sparge arm works, maybe after I brew a batch I'll like it better.
At the bottom of the heating unit, you can see the stub out where I will be putting a thermometer to check the incoming temp of the wort.
Below is the picture looking down into the keg (mash tun).  I made the screen myself, out of 2 aluminum pizza screens and some aluminum screen (like for a window or door).  So the holes are quite fine, yet there is a great deal of open area, which should work well.  The center picture show the outlet from the RIMS to the brewpot.  I can get virtually all of the wort from the system into the brewpot, which is shown on the right.  I also made the screen for this.  The one in the mash tun is almost domed and the one in the brewpot is flat.   If you have any questions please email me   [email protected]
