| 18:e november 2004 testades S*Edo Arctia Caja "Kajsa"och S*Fursten's Party Popper "Asta" positiva f�r viruset FeLV, �ven kallat Kattleukos. Beskedet kom som en oerh�rd chock och tusen fr�gor b�rjade studsa i mitt huvud, hur har jag f�tt in detta, vad inneb�r det f�r tjejerna, hur ser det ut f�r de �vriga katterna, katter jag har s�lt osv. Efter chocken kom sorgen och anklagelserna mot mig sj�lv, hade jag inte haft en s�dan nonchalant inst�llning till tester inf�r parningen hade mina tjejer inte blivit smittade. Jag har endast mig sj�lv att skylla och jag �r s� oerh�rt ledsen f�r det jag har utsatt mina katter f�r, mitt straff �r att jag f�r leva med skuldk�nslorna resten av mitt liv. Det viktigaste jag har l�rt mig av detta el�nde �r att tester inf�r en parning �r livsviktigt f�r v�ra djur, aldrig mer kommer jag att slarva med tester och jag hoppas att m�nga andra med mig har l�rt sig att se mycket allvarligt p� detta! Tack och lov �r resten av g�nget h�r hemma negativa och gissa om de provsvaren innebar en enorm l�ttnad!! The 18th november 2004 S*Edo Arctia Caja "Kajsa" and S*Fursten's Party Popper "Asta" were tested positive for FeLV. The results came as a complete chock for me and thousand questions arised in my head, how did they get it, what does this mean for the girls, how are the others doing a s o. After the chock had settled the sorrow came and I started accusing myself, if I would have had a different attitude towards testing, my girls wouldn't have been infected. I have only myself to blame and I have the deepest regrets for what I've done to them, the guilt will last a lifetime. The most important thing I've learned from this is that testing prior to a mating is a matter of life and death and never again will I be incautious regarding this. I also hope that many others with me have realised how serious this is! Guess if I was happy and relieved when the rest of the gang tested negative!!
