| Ella got her first glimpse of the outdoors when we left to come home on Tuesday. It actually took quite some time to get out the door of the hospital because just about everyone we passed on our way out had to stop and coo over her. She was awake as we prepared to leave and seemed unphased by all the attention--just sat back and watched as each smiling face appeared over the edge of her carrier. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Our two cats, Tippecanoe and Tyler, Too don't seem to mind Ella at all. They generally pay no attention to her, and when they do notice her they just kind of sniff around near her and then move on. Tippy (on the left) jumped onto my lap while I was holding her about one hour after we got home from the hospital. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Check out those tiny toes. I can hardly wait for "This Little Piggy"! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
