| To meet the Mission and Principles of Scouts Canada in the Beaver program, the following goals guide activities that encourage Beavers to:
- experience and express love and joy; - express themselves; - be healthy and have good feelings about themselves; - develop a sense of cooperation through non-competitive activities; and - appreciate nature Beaver Promise: I promise to love God and help take care of the world. | The Beaver program is built around a lively variety of games, crafts, music, storytelling, playacting, and outdoor activities. Beaver activities stress cooperation and teamwork, and meet in a group called a colony. |
