Goemunky

As well as being a solo composer, I play in a band as well, called Goemunky. It is an experimental rock 2-piece group, consisting of myself and Jason Azcona, a film student at UNSW. The mix of my traditional music training and his... creativity produces a highly original and unusual fusion of music and concept art. (I think Jason calls it Go Monkey but I think Goemunky is funky and this is my site, so there. Any opinions, sign my guestbook or something. Any confirmation that I'm not alone in this world...)

We have a number of pieces in the works, including the catchy stalking piece "Cookie Girl". For now all I have available for download is the ballad Alex. There's a bit of a story behind this one, but it's not very interesting. If you want to hear about it, send me an email or something. If I get enough requests for the reason behind this song's existence, I might put it up on my site. How cool would that be, knowing that you'd had a direct influence on what was put on my site? I think it would be cool. Anyway, seeing as this song is dealing with the mystic powers of luuurve, I delegate the singing to Jason. I provide colour with a little violin solo and some backup vocals.
