Daniel Boone Candler (1849-1918) was the son of John Wesley Candler (1817-1850) and Sarah Swaim (b. 1817). John W. and Sarah were married in Feb. 1836 in Allen County, Ohio. John Wesley candler was born in Campbell, VA (probably on Candler's Mountain).
His father, John Candler (1782-1835) and mother, Phoebe Boaz (c1784-1849) were married in Campbell Co, VA on 13 Dec. 1802. John was the son of William Candler (1751-1836) and and Phoebe was the daughter of James Boaz and Ann Russell.
