Part Seven: Getting Your Website Online
Here's a list of some of the places you can get FREE webspace. I, myself, prefer geocities not only because they are giving me free space to do this, but because they are easy. Also, they are teamed up with Yahoo so they give you a website that is similar to your email address (if you are a Yahoo member). My email address is [email protected] and I was able to get www.geocities.com/editorscott as my website.
Free Sites
GeoCities ...This is a great site. If you use Easy Upload you can be up and online in 40 seconds after you sign-up.
Tripod ...Lots of free space to post your own free website, post your pictures, they even let you start a blog.
Angelfire ...Kinda hard to uplaod your files here.
Homestead ...I don't know them, but have read good things about them.
Pay Sites
PowWeb...I've used them before and have some of my clients use them. Only $7.77 per month.
