Adolescence is a time of immense cognitive, physical, social, and emotional change. As teenagers experience often unpleasant and sometimes surprising physical changes, they also face a vast array of academic and social challenges and pressures as they try to find their places within the world. |
It is important for educators to understand the complex forces that are at work within the minds, bodies, and social structures of these young people. This web site is our attempt to demystify those strange but loveable creatures we call adolescents. |
