Entry #8 - 01/22/01
Today the stylist Frank came over and we got to try on some clothes for our first big photo shoot tomorrow. To be honest, I thought it would be more fun than it was. I mean, the people were great to work with but it was tough to find things that fit me right. Please understand: I AM NOT saying I am fat - but I do have a shapely body. I am not paper thin and for the record I DON'T WANT TO BE. I love to eat...Actually it's one of my favorite things to do. It was just hard trying on non-flattering things. Let me say again - now that Frank knows me and my body and shape - I have all the confidence that he will make me look great. What I have to keep reminding myself is that learning how to live with your body, no matter what you look like, is a necessity. And you have to remind yourself that you should be grateful for what God has given you. I realize that I may not look like a "model" (whatever that is). I have curves and that's OK too! |
