Entry #9 - 01/29/01
Well, I did it...I survived my very first photo shoot! I have to say that I was extremely nervous. I went in talking to the stylist, working together to find clothes that looked good. I expressed to him that there are plenty full figured women in magazines who look great. It was important to me to feel pretty and to feel comfortable in my clothing. Frank of course assured me that everything would be fine and it was.
But then it was time for our first set of group pictures. Forget it, I was sooo nervous. It was my first time doing anything like this before and everyone was watching. It was so overwhelming and I wanted to cry. But I kept my head up and continued. Then it came time to take my individual shots - Carlos the photographer gave me an amazing talk, saying that the most beautiful thing about a woman is that she looks like a woman. Someone like Jennifer Lopez takes pictures with confidence. |
